Sunday Night Prayer Service
Starting August 7th and continueing each Sunday evening through out the month of August, we will be haveing a special prayer time. We will take this time to pray not only for our church but for the different departments, department leaders, department needs, each home in our neighborhood, our country, our schools, our school students, our school teachers, the needs of our community and our church family.
Please join us as we lift these needs up to God for blessings and guidance in these matters.
Official Facebook Quote from Joey
Joey Rountree:
The official count for our first August prayer gathering last night was 85 people! I was amazed at the turn out, not simply of adults, but children AND students! Help get the word out--Lighthouse is praying for our ministries, our members, and our community each Sunday night in August. I'm looking for great things to come!

A Little about Lighthouse . .
Lighthouse began with 17 people on March 1, 1998 with a belief that God was calling us to a ministry in the Plummer-Ford Road area. Little did we realize how incredible the journey would be!
Since our inception, God has blessed us with 14 acres of land, a building, and a group of people who are excited about serving the Lord.
On October 3, 2004 we held our first official service in our new building. We have already been privileged to see many people's lives changed in a tremendous way.
We are so greatful for all that God has done in our fellowship, but we are even more excited about all he is going to do in the future!

What We Believe
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. The Bible is the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to earth as a man, While on earth, Jesus lived a sinless life, died on a cross, and was raised to life three days later in order that we could be saved.
We believe Lighthouse Baptist Church was God's idea. We believe that in His wisdom, God put our church together and has placed us in this neighborhood in order to make an eternal impact in the lives of people.
